Collaboration isn’t only a means of tackling competitive pressures; as it also offers a solution driven approach to pooling journalistic resources to better report on complex issues such as climate change, or shared editorial guidelines at times of national crisis.
Public Media Alliance (PMA), of the Steering Group of this Network, publishes a series titled Best of PSM that highlights great cases and practices worldwide. A recent story focuses on several kinds of collaborations:
- Between PSM organizations,
- Between PSM and private media,
- Around specific cases, e.g., editorial guidelines, and
- Between PSM and audiences.
